October 11, 2012 was the official beginning of the Year of Faith which concludes on November 24, 2013, the feast of Christ the King. Pope Benedict announced the Year of Faith for Catholics around the world to recognize and celebrate the:

+ 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council

+ 20th Anniversary of the publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church

The Year of Faith is an opportunity for Catholics to:

+ Rediscover our faith by studying the Catechism & reading the Documents of Vatican II,

+ Renew our personal spiritual formation & revive our joy,

+ Reinvigorate our relationship with Christ and invite others to do the same.
