Clearwater, Florida, November 17, 2009 …Clearwater Central Catholic High School (CCC) and CCC alumnus Katherine Jones (class of 1988), of the Katherine Jones Insurance Agency, Inc. in Clearwater, have partnered to recognize outstanding CCC students with the State Farm Student of the Month and Student-Athlete of the Month awards. Students chosen for this recognition demonstrate exemplary leadership, dedication and hard work in the classroom, on the playing field, in extra-curricular activities and in the community. CCC and State Farm congratulate seniors Agnes Wasilewski, State Farm Student of the Month, and Vanessa Annoni, Student-Athlete of the Month.

 

Agnes Wasilewski, Student of the Month for September, has a 4.5 GPA as an honor student in CCC’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and International Thespian Society. Agnes is also involved in Student Council, Peer Ministry and the Drama Club having appeared in numerous CCC theater productions. 

 

Vanessa Annoni, Student-Athlete of the Month for September, is an honors student with a 4.3 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Vanessa is vice president of the Student Council’s Executive Council and is also active in Spanish Club. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for American University where she will study mathematics and marketing.
