National Youth Leadership Mission

The Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. is the launching pad for the National Youth Leadership Mission slated for November 15-18, 2009.  The dramatic portrayal of events of the Holocaust found in the museum aim at guiding our youth to break the chains of anti-Semitism, bigotry and hate.

Among those slated to participate is Rachel Ray, a Tampa Catholic High School Student.  She will attend a three day extensive program featuring testimonials from survivors of not only the Holocaust, but of Darfur as well.  The program is designed to help youth understand genocide, the atrocities and injustice to human life, while building skills they can use to teach others for the ultimate goal of bringing peace throughout all nations.  Rachel's leadership qualities helped earn her place on this Leadership Mission.

On December 2, 2010 Rachel will be able to share her leadership qualities during a dessert reception that will include all 10 National Youth Leadership Mission students, program donors and school administrators.  The students will share their own experiences and invite you to attend this momentous event in their own lives.  Only with peace will we all know true freedom.
