Pastoral Bulletin Guidelines
|
All text submitted for inclusion in the Pastoral Bulletin should be sent in Word format, font Verdana, size 10 to the Pastoral Bulletin coordinator at pastoralbulletin@dosp.org (with exception of calendar dates and job opportunities; see below). The bulletin is published every Monday and deadline for submitting material is 4:00 pm on the preceding Friday. Length or content may be revised at discretion of editor.
News this Week
Pastoral Center Staff are invited to submit articles for the main body page of the email bulletin. Articles should have a catchy teaser that will link to the office or ministry webpage which will include the full story. The web address for the page on which the article appears should also be included, i.e. Living Eucharist Conference, www.livingeucharist.org. News from the offices of the Bishop, Vicar General, Chancellor, Tribunal, and Vicar for Religious will receive first priority to meet qualifications of this bulletin as the official diocesan Tribunal communication tool.
Should several articles be submitted at any one given week, the Bishop’s three primary priorities, Living Eucharist, Vocations and Ministries of Mercy will be given first consideration.
Articles will run for 1 week only. To be run again, article must be resubmitted.

Pastoral Center Staff and Parish Staff may submit announcements. To be considered for inclusion, announcements should be limited to 80 words, submitted as text in a word document, font Verdana, size 10. Title of event should be listed at top in bold. Events should be of diocesan wide nature. Announcements will run a maximum of 2 weeks.
