PARISH MINISTRY SUPPORT OFFICE
The Parish Ministry Support Office is a resource for planning, developing, strengthening and supporting ministry at the diocese, deanery and parish levels.Specific ministries services and initiatives from the Parish Ministry Support Office include the following:
- Facilitate the Serving God's People process to help position the Diocese of St. Petersburg to better serve their faith communities.
- Plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and facilitate the Multicultural Office efforts of the Diocese with special attention to the revision and implementation of the Hispanic Pastoral Plan.
- Work to promote the Ministries of Mercy initiative with special attention to facilitating the Food and Clothing component of the Diocese.
- Provides information and support for assessing, planning and implementing new ministry development in the area of ministries especialy those that reach out to the poor and marginalized of the local parish community.
- Assists parishes and the diocese in preparing for annual Hurricane Season.
- Resources for the Living Eucharist initiative for the Diocese.
