Citrus and Lower Pinellas Deaneries Begin Planning Process
Because of the declining number priests available to sere as a pastor, significant shifts in demographics, and the many challenges of limited resources, the Diocese of St. Petersburg has launched a planning process to help position the deaneries to better serve their faith communities.
This webpage with its links are designed to be a resource for those parishes involved in the planning process. At the same time, this site is designed to share with the rest of the diocese information about this planning initiative.
Over time each deanery in the Diocese of St. Petersburg will participate in the planning process. For now the Presbyteral Council with Bishop Lynch's support has chosen to begin this initiative in two deaneries - Citrus amnd Lower Pinellas.
