Dear Friends of Face to Face,
In the past several months, Face to Face has undergone many changes. The most dramatic of these has been the retirement of Eileen Smith, the founder of our organization. Her vision for us was simple - connection through hospitality - and it is my privilege and genuine joy to continue that legacy.
Our mission is to reduce suffering and help empower those who feel they are without a voice. My experience has been that, as we live this mission, we are mutually transformed. I am truly humbled to witness both the simple and remarkable changes in the lives of our clients as a result of being seen, heard and known here at Face to Face. I firmly believe that these transformative relationships are the basis for changing our society and ultimately our world.
Now you can witness these relationships first hand each time you visit our new website. You can see us, hear us, and really get to know us through the stories and news we will continue to post on this site. There are so many wonderful activities going on within our walls and in our community and we promise to keep you informed. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you found something on the site that makes you want to be a part of our ever-growing group of clients and volunteers.
Face to Face exists because people like you share your gifts of time and talent, invest your financial assets in our work and share a commitment to our mission. Please continue to enable this good work through your involvement and by spreading the word about Face to Face.
And finally, thank you for being one of the first to visit our brand new home on the web! Be sure to visit us on Facebook and Twitter too.
I look forward to deepening my relationship with each and every one of you.
Gratefully,
Mary Kay
