The Catholic Diocese of Belleville, Illinois
Erected January 7, 1887
During 2012 the Catholic Diocese of Belleville celebrated its 125th anniversary. As part of the celebration there was a year long study of the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults (USCCA). During the year Catholics from across the diocese examined together the richness of our Catholic faith and encouraged each other along our lifelong journey toward holiness and eternal life.
The varied content for the chapters on the right were developed by a diverse representation of clergy and lay people. While the dates on the study sheets relate to the anniversary year's unfolding of the chapters, the nature of the content is such that it may continue to be a supplemental resource for study of the USCCA and remains available for your use. May your study bear the fruit of ongoing conversion!
