20th Biennial Conference

The Florida Council of Catholic Women (Province of Miami) held its 20^th biennial Conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Maitland, FL, October 25^th – 28^th, 2012. Hosted by the Members of the Orlando Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, this special event recognized the Catholic women from the seven Dioceses of Florida who have served the communities of Florida in religious, social, educational and charitable endeavors.

My dear Council Sisters
            I was a bit overwhelmed and speechless at the FCCW Conference when presented the FCCW Our Lady of Good Counsel Award. I would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL my council sisters for their friendship, support and love these past years. You kind words and congratulations are very much appreciated.
      Since the death of my husband now some 25 years ago, Council has been my life line. I pray the good Lord continues to give me the good health, strength and energy to continue to serve Him through the Council of Catholic Women.
