There are many times when we find ourselves looking for something to offer a friend as a symbol of faith or a sign of prayer. Holy Land Rocks may meet that need. These smooth, polished rocks come from the Sea of Galilee in Israel, giving them both historical and religious significance. Here at St. Francis de Sales, we will bless a number of these (plain, without engraving) rocks at Mass to give to people receiving the Sacrament of the Sick as a sign that we are praying for them. Each rock has its own beauty and unique characteristics and each engraved rock comes with a card certifying that it is from the Holy Land along with a scroll telling the history of where the rock came from in the Holy Land. The rocks can be engraved with the name of Jesus, the name of a person, or a symbol of faith.
