Meet the Good News Team
We're a Catholic lay evangelization training ministry, guided by the Holy Spirit, consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Mother of Jesus, staffed by volunteers, directed by lay couple Ralph & Terry Modica, overseen by Father Desmond Daly. We offer seminars, retreats, courses and an intensive full-week of evangelization training, in accordance with the teachings of the Church Magisterium and with the approval of our pastor and the pastors of the parishes where we serve. Good News Ministries is a faith ministry run solely on donations. We preach the Good News in a way that changes lives: first your life, then through you, the lives of those God has placed on your spiritual journey. TERRY ANN MODICA is the author of the Daily Reflections and the designer, editor, and head writer of the Good News Ministries website. She converted to the Roman Catholic Church in 1977. Before moving to Florida in 1995, she gained a reputation for inspirational teaching and spiritual leadership in Adult Religious Education, prayer groups, Parish Council, and as diocesan staff writer. She has been a writer for Christian magazines since 1982, and she is the author of the books "Overcoming the Power of the Occult" and "Daily Prayers with the Saints for the New Millennium" as well as other books, home study courses, booklets and pamphlets. She founded the Good News Web Designers Association. Experienced in directing Small Christian Communities programs in her parish and diocese, she pioneered online faith sharing groups.
