Altar Servers
: This is an opportunity for our elementary age boys and girls to serve at Mass.

Baptismal Preparation: Preparation includes a welcome visit and participation in an evening class which is held approximately once every two months.

Bible Study: Read scripture and reflect on how God acts in our lives no prior knowledge of the Bible is necessary. Mondays 7:00 p.m. in the Ministry Center

Children's Liturgy of the Word: A weekly Liturgy of the Word service for children attending the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Children in grades 1-6 are invited to hear the Sunday readings in a child appropriate setting.

Coffee & Donuts: This hospitality is provided by volunteers after the 10:00 a.m. Mass.

Confirmation: Preparation for Confirmation is a one year process begun in the freshman year of high school. Candidates and their sponsors attend together the preparation sessions and two retreats before the reception of Confirmation.

Earthen Vessel Prayer Group: Meets every Friday evening at 8:30 p.m. in the church for charismatic prayer and faith sharing.

Eucharistic Minister: Trained ministers have the privilege of giving Holy Eucharistic during the Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Finance Committee: Meets monthly, a group of volunteers help Father Piers Lahey make major decisions concerning the fiscal well being of the parish.

Good Shepherd LOM: Local Organizing Ministers work with PIA (Peninsula Interfaith Action) to put our faith into action by working in concrete ways to improve the quality of life in our community.

Greeters: Men and women welcome those who join us in worship.

Grief Support Group: Formed to provide some support during time of grief. Meets the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month, Ministry Center 1:00 p.m. For more information contact Virginia Lax at 650-359-1693

Gym Booster Committee: Conducts drawing on last Sunday of the month. Money from this ongoing fund-raiser supports the maintenance of our multipurpose building/gym.

Knights of Columbus: This international Catholic men's group meets at 7:30 p.m. the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month in St. Rita's Hall.

Lector: Trained readers proclaim the Scriptures.

The Legion of Mary: A branch of a worldwide organization, they meet Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and offer their services to the pastor and do spiritual works in the parish.

Liturgy Committee: A group of parishioners working to improve and enhance the total celebration of the Liturgy. This group meets regularly and focuses on parts of the Liturgy and decorations of the church for various Feasts and liturgical seasons.

Men's Club: The men of the parish meet the fourth Thursdays for socialization as well as plant maintenance and fund raising events.

Music Ministry: Singers and instrumentalists who lead the community in song all weekend and Holy Day Liturgies.

Parish School Board: This advisory body is made up of men and women from the parish and school parent community.

PTG: Our parent-teacher group meets every other month for social and fund-raising purposes.

Religious Education-CCD Classes: Faith formation classes for children in Kindergarten-8 grade attending our local public schools are held each Sun. from 11:15a.m. - 12:45 p.m. in our parish school. Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion are provided in both our second grade class and our family program, for older children.

Respect for Life: Duties include, social issues, protect life & human dignity, Walk for life, gathering of signatures as projects come up. Sally Reyes 650-738-1710

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults): Adults and high school students who wish to become Catholic or who have not received Communion or not been confirmed meet on Sundays at 11:15 a.m..

Sacristans: Trained individuals who prepare the sanctuary for weekend Liturgies.

Saint Vincent de Paul: This branch of a worldwide lay organization helps people within our parish boundaries with food and assistance. Meets 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in Ministry Center

School: For information on the parish school, contact the school office at 359-4544.

Stitchers for St. Anthony's: Group that knits, crochets, and sews for the children in San Francisco, St. Anthony's Foundation meets first Fridays at 2:00 p.m. in St. Rita's Hall.
