Ordinary Time

Ordinary comes from the Latin word "ordinal"
which means "counted". Each of the coming weeks is
"counted", as - 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Guardian Angels was founded on July 23, 1957 by Archbishop A. Floerish. Fr. Daniel Lobsinger, C.R. began serving as pastor in 2003. He is assisted by Senior Deacon Philip Tremblay, C.R.

Guardian Angels Catholic Community is a caring and generous Roman Catholic Parish of believers located in South Central Louisville. In the spirit of our common faith, we are committed to the Gospel values, fostering a climate of spiritual, emotional, educational, and social formation.

We strive to realize those values by:
                      Our mutual participation in worship
                      Promoting social justice
                      Fostering the growth of our parish through sharing
                      our time, talent, and treasure
                      Providing education in a Catholic Christian atmosphere.

Fr. Lobsinger describes Guardian Angels as "A group of people willing to care for, respect, and build up in faith each other into the image of Christ." He and the members of Guardian Angels welcome visitors and hope that they will stay to become our newest members .
