Welcome to November.  We all have a great deal to be thankful for.   I know I am very thankful for all of you.
The children will be working in letter books Ss, Ll and starting letter book Ii this month.  I am so proud of their work.  Many of the students are beginning to sound out words and spell them.  It is exciting to be a part of this process.
We are learning about Saints.  The children have learned about what a saint is and have read about St. Francis.  We will begin learning about St. Albert The Great and will attend Mass on November 18th.  The children participated in the Faith Families on November 4th.  The lesson was about Saints.  The topics we will be learning about this month are the story of The Lost Sheep and I Am Special.
Our Math lessons are centering around the numbers 6-10 and graphs.
The children will learn about the Pilgrims and the Native Americans.  I have many projects and a prayer service planned.
