Holy Angels Church at 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 US - Home

Each first Friday of the month, I gather with a group of priests to pray, share a meal and reflect on our lives as priests. We support each other in the important work we do to build God’s kingdom as shepherds of God’s people. The group is varied across ages, experiences and locations. One man drives in from Loudonville and many travel almost an hour to the host location. We make a commitment because we know how important it is to support one another in faith, to reflect on our lives as priests and to pray for God’s help to fulfill our vocations.Throughout this Lent, we are offering our parishioners the unique opportunity to gather in small groups to pray, reflect and support each other in faith through a program called, “Living the Eucharist”. This program allows us the opportunity to discover the treasure of the Eucharist, to explore its historical and biblical roots and to share with others the meaning and importance of the Eucharist in our lives. There are over a dozen different small group times and settings to choose from. The MOMs group, for instance, will have their own reflection group as well as the Women at the Well. Other small groups will be open to everyone, such as a Tuesday morning 7:30 a.m. group and a Wednesday afternoon group. We invite and encourage your participation in this 6 part series as a way of growing personally in faith and in sharing your faith so as to build up others in their vocation as Catholic Christians. Sundays in February: Free Car Washes at Waterway Car Wash in Aurora
Our friends at Waterway Carwash in Aurora are offering FREE car washes to our parishioners each Sunday of February. The car wash is located at 7010 N. Aurora Road in Aurora next to Home Depot. It would be helpful if you had a Holy Angels decal on your car to indicate you are a parishioner. Decals are available in the Gathering Area after Masses or in the Parish Office. Otherwise, please bring a parish bulletin to show you are a member of the parish. It's a great month for this opportunity to wash away the salt and spiff up your car for spring.

Catholic Charities 2012 Annual Appeal - "I am Catholic"
CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF HELPING YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS IN NEED
The 2012 Catholic Charities Annual Appeal is an opportunity to say "yes" as Catholics and change the lives of others. The theme of this year's Appeal is "I am Catholic" - a declaration that invites reflection and calls to mind the unity, strength and change that we can accomplish together. New Roman MissalIn 2001, under the direction of Pope John Paul II, the Vatican called for a more precise translation that gives Catholics a better sense of the richness of the Latin text. The International Commission on English in the Liturgy (called ICEL) began to prepare these new translations, and they were approved for us beginning November 27, 2011 in all English speaking churches.

As members of the Church of the Holy Angels, we covenant with one another to follow and share the teachings of Jesus Christ in accord with our Roman Catholic tradition. We will worship God together and serve our neighbor as an open and caring Christian community. We pledge to minister to one another’s spiritual and physical needs, expressing through our individual lives the love and faith taught by Jesus.
With Angels beside us, we gather as One Family Uniting in Christ to:
Celebrate our faith through uplifting and positive spiritual, sacramental and liturgical worship.
Support each other in faith and working together to build the reign of God.
Teach our faith rooted in the development of our youth and adults, and in the sharing of our daily lives.
Nurture our community ministries to the aid and comfort of others.
Care for all God’s people through social justice programs that assist the economically disadvantaged, infirmed and homebound.
Build the Kingdom of God by working together as a family in Christ.
