Faith Formation You are invited to join the Faith Formation Prayer Group who will meet every Monday from 7:45 - 8:15 am in the Chapel to pray for all those listed in our bulletin, the souls in purgatory and special intentions.
Religious Education provides faith formation and sacramental preparation for children in grades pre K-8.Classes meet Wednesdays, 6:45-8:00pm. Additional classes for sacramental preparation on Saturday Mornings and Sunday afternoons. Catechists, teachers’ aides, and substitutes are always needed. Training and formation will be provided.
RCIA (RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADLUTS AND CHILDREN’S CATECHUMENATE) are formation programs in the Catholic faith that prepare children and adults for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, scriptural reflection, study of church teaching, social gatherings and service with the parish community. Sessions for Adults are on Tuesday and for Children on Saturday Mornings.
RCIA beings Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the School Library and continues to meet Tuesdays at 7:00 -8:30 pm until May 14, 2013. Click here for the 2012-2013 calendar.
Breaking Open the Word is a component of the RCIA process. Where participants share their insights on the Sunday readings. Sessions are after the 9:30 Sunday Mass homily
Vacation Bible School is a one week program for children 5 through 6th grade. It is held in June each year. We proclaim the good news of Jesus in songs, readings and activities. Volunteers teach, assist and supervise the components of the program.
All volunteers MUST be fingerprinted and have a background check as well as attending Protecting God’s Children workshop (check DOSA website for listings).
