Holy Family Religious Education at 215 Orchard St., Grand Blanc, MI 48439 US - K4J (Kids for Jesus)

Parents know that the character of their children is formed through reinforcement of solid virtues.  The K4J (Kids for Jesus) program compliments the efforts of school, home and parish to bring Christian virtues to life for children through games, crafts, music and stories.  This program is for children 3 year through 4th grade.

Last year, we were blessed with 64 children, 12 moms and dads, 20 K4J captains - it is truly hard to say who learned more last year!!  This year we have made some positive changes, and are so excited to bring the children an even brighter and more engaging after school program.

We are looking for volunteers to help out at these meetings.  If you are interested in helping, please contact the Religious Ed Department at 810-694-9072, ext. 101. 

Meetings will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month in the school cafeteria.  The meetings will be held on the following dates:

October 14th --- Virtue – Forgiveness
November 11th --- Virtue – Love of the Church
December 9th --- BLESS THE BABY JESUS EVENT
January 13th --- Virtue – Learning the Truth
February 10th --- Virtue – Respect
March 10th --- Virtue – Top Secret Sacrifice
April 14th --- Virtue – Joyful Obedience
May 12th --- Virtue – Careful Speech

Students in grades 5-8 are invited to join us as “Captains” who are helpers for the younger children.  They may sign up in the Religious Education Office or call the number below.

The program fee for this year is $55 which covers the monthly mission/activity pack, crafts and supplies.  If your child attended last year and does not need a new T-Shirt, the cost is $50.        T-Shirts are not required.
