Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest with the distibution of the Eucharist during Communion. The Ministers of Communion also take communion to the ill and homebound members of our community. There is a training and you need to be eighteen years and older. The honor and privilege of bringing up the gifts of the Eucharist is yours for the asking. You may have an anniversary, birthday or a special intention that you are privately or openly celebrating. You can accomplish this by volunteering to bring up the gifts to the altar at any one of the masses. Contact an Usher at least 15 minutes before Mass or sign-up in advance on the list in the Usher's Room at the back of the church. It's a wonderful way to fully participate in the mass and it can be done by your entire family or with your group of friends.
To assist the presider during Mass as an Altar Server, you must be in at least 5th grade. If you are interested in this ministry, please contact B. Simon Lee, 694-4891, ext. 205.
Each Mass has a crew of people who greet and seat those attending Mass and make certain they are comfortable during Mass. If you would like to be a gift-bearer at Mass or have special seating requirements, please notify an usher as you come into church. If you would like to become one, please contact Simon in the parish office, 694-4891, ext. 205.
Babysitting services are provided in the Holy Family Preschool during the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays. If you would like to help, please call the Religious Education Office, 694-9072, ext. 101.
Assist with decorating the church. We work to provide a pleasant space appropriate to the Liturgical Calendar through the use of banners, flowers and seasonal decorations. If you would like to help, contact the parish office.
