St. Vincent De Paul Society is an international Catholic organization of lay persons which was founded by Frederic Ozanam. The society’s mission is to help persons in need by providing them with food and sometimes financial assistance in emergency situations. They hold food drives within the church to supply their pantry shelves.
The mission of St. Vincent de Paul Society is to help the people in need. The Society receives donations from local merchants and from parishioners. We are members of the Mission District, which serves the South and Southeast area of San Antonio.
During the holidays, donations are greatly needed. We try to provide turkeys and other festive meals to the needy. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Back to School are the times we are in most need of donations.
Help us by helping others. If you wish to make a donation of non-perishables they can be left in the foyer of the church or if you wish to make a monetary donation place it in second collection taken every second Sunday of the month.
For further information contact Richard Rios Sr. or Alice Morales at the St. Vincent De Paul Society office 210-333-6077.
If you are in need of assistance please call and set up an appointment.
