The hallmark of Catholic Education is parental involvement. At Holy Spirit School, we encourage parents to become actively involved in their child's education, and seek parent participation.
Opportunities for participation include the following:
- Education Commission: A policy making board and an advisory Board to Administration
- Parent/Teacher Conferences: Minimum of two times per year required
- Classroom Volunteers: Volunteer on a weekly basis in the Young 5's and Kindergarten classrooms; Assist with special projects and activities; Room Parent Volunteers
- Project Charlie Facilitator
- Parent/Teacher Association: Oversees special "fun"d-raising project to purchase materials that will support and enhance the curriculum; Sponsors and supports Project Charlie; Sponsors and staffs Publishing Center; Supports classroom activities/field trips
- Boosters' Club: Oversees athletic program and facilities
- Educational Foundation: Long-range financial planning
- Advisors for Extra-Curricular Activities: including Athletics, Scouts and Science Olympiad
