Academic Preparedness

The dedicated, highly qualified staff of Holy Spirit School prides itself in providing an academically challenging curriculum ~ and assists the students learning endeavors with Differentiated Instruction and a high level of individualized support ~ during, before and after school.

11 of our 22 Teaching Staff have earned their Master’s Degree in Education, and 7 additional teachers have over 18 hours of post-graduate work in education classes.

92% of last year’s Holy Spirit School’s 8th graders taking the Catholic Secondary Schools’ Placement Test were placed into advanced math classes at West Catholic.

This year, on an average, 86% of our 2nd-8th grade students, Exceeded or Met State Expectations in Reading, Language, Social Studies and Science.

Over the last 10 years, on an average, 40% of West Catholic's Top 10 Seniors have been Holy Spirit School Alumni. (The last two years, West Catholic High School has been named one of the Top 50 Catholic High School's in America!

The 2008 West Catholic Graduating Class was awarded over $3,500,000 in College Scholarships.
