Holy Trinity School at 1304 Alpine Church Road NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321-9765 US - Value

Value

The Value Analysis: Value We strongly believe in the quality of the educational experience offered here at Holy Trinity and consistently strive to produce the absolute best results for our students. Please consider some of our former students' own words and stories as testament to the realization of results that suggest academic achievement, personal growth, spiritual development, and community contribution:

John Paul Rollert - Holy Trinity Class of '92 In 1990, at the age of twelve, John moved to West Michigan with his family and enrolled at Holy Trinity, along with his two sisters, Alexis and Elspeth. Despite entering HT in the seventh grade, he remembers, "I was never made to feel like an outsider but was instead welcomed with open arms by the Holy Trinity community." After graduating from HT, John moved on to West Catholic High School and then to Harvard College, where he graduated with a BA in Social Studies in the spring of 2001. Today, John is working on a PhD in the Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago and will begin law school at Yale University in 2005. Along the way, John has interned for former Congressman Joe Kennedy and as a speechwriter in the Secretary General's Office at the United Nations. He has worked as a member of the editorial staffs of George Magazine and the Harvard Political Review and is currently at work finishing his first novel. When not engaged in politics, he enjoys running, traveling, and hanging out with friends from the Holy Trinity Class of 1992. Looking back on his time at HT, John says, "I am grateful for all of the help and encouragement I got from so many people in the HT community. My success, in no small part, is due to the opportunities that Holy Trinity provided me and the values it affirmed."

Patrick Beadling - Holy Trinity Class of '00 Patrick grew up at Holy Trinity. He recalls, "I was always there growing up. Always. It was cool to have my family be so involved with my experience at HT." Patrick's father, John, spent ten years as athletic director at Holy Trinity, dedicating an amazing amount of time and effort along with his wife, Nancy, to the building of athletics at the school, adding football and baseball, opening a new gymnasium, coaching, and establishing many of the standards and processes that govern the program today. Patrick himself has volunteered numerous hours at Holy Trinity since leaving there for West Catholic High School. In addition to volunteering at his old school, he managed to accomplish a 4.00 GPA while earning all-conference honors in football and baseball. The next step is pre-med study at Michigan State University. In light of all of this, Patrick's full-time, family-rooted involvement at Holy Trinity has given him something that is more important to him than all of it: "Some of my best friends today are those that I went to school with at HT and their families. I cannot imagine what my life would be like without my time there."

Charlotte Burns - Holy Trinity Class of '98 Charlotte spent eight years as a student at Holy Trinity. Thinking about HT today, she states, "Holy Trinity isn't just a school. It's a whole community experience." She further stresses how especially fortunate she feels to have had the teachers that she had at Holy Trinity, stating, "When I got to high school, I felt far more advanced than the other students in my school." Proving so, Charlotte graduated from Sparta High School in 2002 as Valedictorian and is currently studying at the University of Michigan. Her free time is spent reading and playing basketball, which she notes, "is an interest spurred by amazing coaching at HT." Asked to sum up the value of the Holy Trinity experience, she offers, "It really epitomizes the idea that it takes a village to raise a child...teachers, parents, coaches...Coming from there, I know that I have a village behind me."

Allison Sublett - Holy Trinity Class of '04 Allison could not be more proud of her Holy Trinity affiliation. She excitedly shares, "I love Holy Trinity. You know everyone here. I could not be from a better school." Allison certainly knows all about working to be better. Having earned the Julie Whelan Award for achieving the highest level of academic success while participating in at least one sport while at Holy Trinity, Allison enjoys dedicating herself to doing her absolute best at whatever she chooses to do. About HT's academics, she explains, "You are given a lot of work, but it is to prepare you for your life. I feel prepared for just about anything." Allison is a competitive achiever, a vibrant personality that embraces life, and a sincere and loyal friend. Allison's most vivid recollections of HT are "winning a city championship in basketball...and the teammates that I did it with...definitely...I can't wait to graduate from high school with them."
