A PRAYER FOR HEALING: Lord Jesus, You invite all who are burdened to come to You. We ask You now to allow Your healing hand to touch and heal our loved ones and family members named below. Touch their souls with Your compassion for others. Touch their hearts with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch their minds with Your wisdom, that their mouths may always proclaim Your praise. Teach them to reach out to You in their needs, and help them to lead others to You by their example. Most loving and Sacred Heart of Jesus, bring them health in both body and spirit, that they may serve You with all their strength. Touch gently these lives which You have created, now and forever. Through the intercession of St. Peregrine, may God touch and heal Mr. Miller and guide the decisions made by his medical team. And for Mark's Aunt Pat who is also seriously ill and hospitalized on ICU; may God touch and heal her as well.
*Our DRE, Tomas Tafolla asks for prayers for Elizabeth M. (Chrones Disease), Agustin Tafolla (his father...78 years old...old age stuff), and Quin Thompkins (spiritual warfare stuff).
*Maria Kepner, a Life Teen parent, asks for prayers for her mom, Connie Barsotti, who was diagnosed a year ago with pancreatic cancer.
*My friend and former Life Teen parent, Brenda Abrames, asks for prayers for her mom and dad who are both depressed and their marriage is suffering, for her friend Heather who needs a liver donor match ASAP, for protection for her nephew and his future bride as they prepare for their marriage, for her son Dylan who needs prayer for strength and forgiveness of himself...for better management of his time so he doesn't fail his math class...that any pride that is in the way be released from him so that he finds a parish and makes his faith and God a priority while he's at school, for safety for her son Brandon as he travels to Florida to begin active duty next week, for continued healing for her daughter Danielle from mono, and for Brenda herself to get through the next two weeks...that God will give her courage and discernment to verbalize her feelings with two important people in her life.
