About The Teacher

Parishioner of St. Pius X in Grandville.
Married with four children.
Bachelor's Degree from WMU, major in French, minor in Spanish.
Professional Teaching Certificate from Aquinas College, Language Arts endorsement for K-8.

13th year at Holy Trinity teaching 2nd grade.
Prior experience teaching 1st grade and 5th grade, as well as subbing in public schools.

Several years of experience teaching CCD for 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th.
Jr. High Coordinator of CCD program at St. Joseph's in Battle Creek, MI, 1980-1981.
Active at St. Pius X as co-chair of the Outreach Commission and as a lector.

I enjoy helping students to discover their personal gifts and talents.
We do arts and crafts, write stories, and use drama in the classroom to energize our curriculum.
Students will also be invited to serve others
and grow in their love and understanding of the Lord.
