Class Updates
Science-
We completed an assessment over the “living things” chapter. We began a new unit on cells. Students had the opportunity to use microscopes and view slides. We will be doing more work with this in the future.
Social Studies-
We continued our study of early societies and their journey to North America . We spent time celebrating Constitution Day on Friday as well.
Next Week-
Monday is picture day- students will have a dress up day.
Please make sure text books are covered ASAP.
7th grade is responsible for Mass next week, all are welcome to attend.
Reminders/Information:
· Last week I mentioned that the auction committee is looking for students to volunteer to babysit on auction night, April 30th. Please inform your child if they will be allowed to do this, that way they can be placed on the list.
· The online grading system has been slow to get up and running. Mrs. Sochacki has been working with the company to make sure that everything is in order. Our hope is to have it running smoothly by next week. www.mystudentsprogress can be checked frequently to see how your child is doing.
