The Parish Council met Tuesday June 16, 7:00 p.m. in the parish house. Reports from the Chicken Dinner committee, Liturgy Committee, Faith Formation, Buildings/Grounds, Cemetery, Finance Council, the Guild, and the Knights of Columbus were shared and discussed. A motion was made, discussed and approved to pay organists $10 per Mass. Discussion was also held regarding the clustering/linking of our parish with Immaculate Conception. We may need to reorganize the Cluster committee and hire additional staff. Fr. Mark would like to hire a secretary for the cluster to assist that current staff of both parishes and to provide him more time for pastoral duties. “Pew Polls” may be used to receive feedback from parishioners. Sheryl Koch and Fran Uhl were thanked for their service and they retire. And Marie Benedix was welcomed to the Council as the Guild representative. The next meeting will be August 16.
