St. Joseph's & St. Mary's Churches at 409 South Bridge Street, Belding, MI 48809 US - Home

Welcome to the website of St. Joseph's & St. Mary's Parishes

   
  This is our home on the Internet. Here you will find the latest news and information about our parishes. 

1) Fr. Fred Brucker is now at St. Joseph's Church, Wright.  Address 18876 8th Avenue, Conklin, MI  49403   Phone:  616-899-2286; email: frfred8119@gmail.com.

2) GOD'S KITCHEN BELDING, a community activity sponosred by the Churches of Belding and housed at St. Joseph's gym serves dinner once a week to those who are hungry.  Meals are served on Thursdays from 5:00 PM to  6:00 PM.   The entre, vegetable, and salad are provided by God's Kitchen in Grand Rapids.  Beverage, bread, and dessert are provided by the good people of Belding.

God's Kitchen Belding is an outreach service of Catholic Charities West Michigan and therefore there is no charge for the food.

Ongoing Events:
 
Sundays, 11:30 AM: Inquiry sessions for non-Catholics interested in knowing more about the Catholic Faith.  Free.  No obligation.  Everyone is welcome.


We continue to collect items for the Belding Ecumenical Food Pantry.  In this time of need there are more and more people in need.  Your donations can be placed in front of the altar at either St. Joseph's or St. Mary's or by the elevator at St. Joseph's.  Thank you for helping to feed the hungry.

Non-perishable items are as follows:
CANNED ITEMS: meats, meat sauces, main dish items, mixed vegetables, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce, peas beans, soups, fruit, potatoes.  BOXED/BAGGED ITEMS: muffin mixes, brownie mixes, dry milk, minute rice, potatoes, cereals, macaroni & cheese, pancake mix, pastas.  HYGIEND PRODUCTS: shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toilet paper.  BOTTLES/JARS: peanut butter, jam/jelly, pancake syrup.
