Box Tops and Tyson A+ Labels. Our P.T.C. group has several fund raisers that it organizes throughout the school year and that many in the parish participate in. Did you ever wonder if that clipping, cutting, and shopping makes a difference? It certainly does and here are the numbers to prove it. Meijer Community Rewards Program: This program has been really profitable for us. Since the program started less than 2 years ago, we have earned $2810.93. We currently have 56 cardholders with about 27 of the 56 being school families. The rest are parish members or family and friends. We still have plenty of room for growth. All you need to do is let the cashier scan your card before your order is totaled and the school will receive credit for almost all Meijer purchases. For information on enrolling in this program, contact Lisa Roetting. SCRIPS: From November '03 - July '04 Box Tops for Education Program: Since we started this program in August of 1999, we have earned $2314.62 with over $676 of this total just this past year. In the past few years, this program has expanded to include more than just General Mills cereals, Box Tops can now be found on Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Yoplait, Old EI Paso, Green Giant, Totino's Pizza, and more! Anything you see a Box Top logo on, clip and save it. Each one is worth $.10. For information on this program contact Lisa Roetting. Funding Factory Laser and Inkjet Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling Program: This is another big money maker. Last year we earned $305.20. Since the program started about 3 years ago, we've earned $997.80. It's easy also. Just send in your empty laser and inkjet cartridges and old cell phones. Businesses can take part in this program also. For information on this program, contact Lisa Roetting. If you shop at Last year we earned $637.57 from this program. Purchase from a variety of foods and a percentage goes to our school. Market Day forms are attached to the bulletin each month. For information on this program contact Denise Schack. Thriftway Community Pals: We were lucky enough to have met our purchasing level this year before the store closed. Our school earned a total of $1000 by participating in this program over the last couple years. Thanks to everyone who takes part in these programs. Clipping a Box Top or swiping a card may not seem like much of a contribution, but as you can see, it all adds up'. Thanks also to the P.T.C. volunteers who head up these programs and give their time so that our school can continue to thrive.
