“Many of you already know that LWC is a unique program offered to give children the opportunity to share and understand the Sunday readings on their age level, pray the Creed and the Prayers of the Faithful following the study materials used by myself and Lisa Bracke.  We, as leaders of this children's program, spend time during the week prior to the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass to go over the information approved by the American Bishops and given by Sister Kevan for our use throughout the year. 

In the past three years I have found a great support team of volunteers to help with ‘shepherding’ the children in and out of Church that continues their spirit of worship.  I am beginning the process of making the 2004-2005 LWC schedule and am looking for four adults and four children who would commit one Sunday a month for the next six months (a total of six times) to assist the LWC program.  Your presence makes all the difference in whether LWC is successful.  Children who are willing to work with their parents to prepare for the presentation of the first of the Sunday readings are encouraged to participate.  I will make copies of this information and pass it on the week prior to the scheduled time.  Adult helpers are needed to help ‘shepherd’ the children to the meeting room along with myself.  If this is a program that interests you…whether or not you have children involved in LWC, your assistance will help us in continuing into the 2004-2005 year!”
