We have all seen the public forums about the Health Care Reform. It has been difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff, but I think it is gradually becoming something we can understand, at least to a degree. I see the public uproar as something positive if not the conduct of some of our fellow citizens. Too often, we sit back and allow things to happen.                                  

It is my personal belief that somewhere, somehow there will be an attempt to find a way to provide free abortions. The Hyde Amendment presently forbids that, but it is my understanding that repealing this amendment is high on President Obama’s to-do list. We need to express our opinion on this to our legislators as early as possible so that they see a large segment of the population opposing this before they have to make their position known.                                              

I hope we all agree that the proposed health care reform bill is a pro-life matter. It has everything to do with the sanctity of life from conception to natural death, from the unborn to the aging and to those of any age who do not have health insurance.
