The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.6 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people. Often times when men are asked to become a Knight of Columbus, they are concerned about the tremendous burden on their schedule and are hesitant to add to that burden. The St. Luke Knights of Columbus council is composed of approximately 95 men who share a common bond…service. We are fellow parishioners, husbands and fathers and we have the same stress and burdens. Our council is asking you to donate one Tuesday each month to attend a business meeting and then whatever time you have in service or programs that help both parish and community charities. Mother Teresa once said, "If we worry too much about ourselves, we won’t have time for others".
