This Weeks Volunteer Opportunities and News

We need to have a slate of officers prepared for our election in May.  If you’re interested in a position attend the April meeting.  Our current GK Michael Pimentel has been a Grand Knight for two terms is not seeking a third.  We also need to fill Deputy GK, Chancellor, Warden, Advocate, Inside and Outside Guards.  The other positions are appointed by the GK.

  

Also,  if you haven’t paid your dues for 2011 please contact our FS Luke Humphrey ASAP.

As we approach Holy Week & Easter, we would like to remind you of the service dates & times that will be occurring over the next 10 days:

 

Friday, April 15 - 5:30 pm - Mass with Stations of the Cross (Potluck Supper following Mass)

 

Sunday, April 17 - 9:00 am - Palm Sunday Mass & Last Day of RE Classes

 

Monday, April 18 - 12:00 noon - Weekday Mass

 

Tuesday, April 19 - 12:00 noon - Weekday Mass

 

Wednesday, April 20 - 12:00 noon - Weekday Mass

 

Thursday, April 21 - 5:30 pm - Holy Thursday Mass (Mass of the Lord's Supper: Washing of Feet & Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament)

 

Friday, April 22 - 4:30 pm - Stations of the Cross & Confession

 

Friday, April 22 - 5:30 pm - Good Friday Service (To include Liturgy of the Word, Communion Service & Veneration of the Cross)

 

Saturday, April 23 - 8:00 pm - Holy Saturday Easter Vigil Mass (To include Service of the Light, Liturgy of the Word, Liturgy of Baptism, & Liturgy of the Eucharist) * We do have 3 adults & 2 children who will be received into the Church through the Sacrament of Baptism at this Mass, so please join us in welcoming them into our community.  A reception will be held following Mass.

 

Sunday, April 24 - 9:00 am - Easter Sunday Mass (Refreshments & an Easter Egg Hunt for the children will follow Mass.)

 

Monday, April 25 - 12:00 noon - Easter Monday Mass & Anniversary of Fr. John's Ordination
