40 Cans for Lent Program   February 20, 2012 at 4:00 PM   Dear Brother and Sister in Christ,   Hunger knows no season or holiday. It is with us always and even more so in these troubled economic times. As part of the Food for Families effort, San Miguel Councils members are encouraged to bring a Can a day (or 40 cans) for the 40 cans for Lent program. The goal of the program is to ask each member of the our council and of the parish to donate one can of food for each day of Lent which begins on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22. Seminarian Spaghetti Dinner   On Saturday February 25, 2012 the Knights of Columbus will serve a Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner in the K of C Hall.
