SUPPORT OUR TROOPS -- Sunday, Dec 6 -- 10am to 1pm
Some of you may remember from last year we worked with some folks at St.
Augustine's to pack care packages for US troops overseas. On Sunday,
December 6th, St. Augustine's (18 Cherry Avenue) will be having a drive
to collect items and pack boxes to send to our troops. The work takes
place in the cafeteria from 10am - 1pm.
Wish List Items include:
Magazines/Newspapers (sports, cars, fitness, outdoors, comic books,
crossword puzzles, recent sports, newspaper sections),
Toiletries (travel size if possible)(foot powder, razors, Q-tips,
ChapStick, tube shaving cream, nail clippers, wet wipes),
Food (no chocolate please)(microwaveable meals, cheese & cracker
packets, beef jerky, store bought cookies, Slim Jims, packets of tuna,
dry cereal, hard candy, Cup-a-Soup, Granola bars, sunflower or pumpkin
seeds, Gatorade powder mix, gum),
Clothes (black socks, Under Armor brand T-shirts, knit skull caps, hand
warmers, shower flip flops)
Miscellaneous (AA and AAA batteries, crayons, blank disks, DVDs, small
flashlights, mini travel games, disposable cameras)
