Are you hungering for some quiet time with Jesus? Allow Him to give all of Himself to you. How much time do you spend praying or asking Him for guidance? How much time do you spend listening for an answer or response from Him? Accept the gift He has for you in Eucharistic Adoration . . . accept His peace. Seek Him out by investigating when Eucharistic Adoration is available in your parish. Some parishes have it available once a month; others have "Perpetual Adoration" (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) He's waiting for you! Feel free to utilize the questions below to guide your time with Jesus. Eucharistic Adoration Meditation Questions This is a special time for me to spend with Jesus. He is my focal point; my beginning and my end. It is a time to let everything else go and adore Him with all my heart. The only way to let Him in is to make space for Him in my heart and mind. For Him to come in, I must empty myself. In case I experience difficulty with this process, I can utilize these questions to guide my thoughts. How has Jesus shown me His love most recently? What would it feel like to completely empty my mind of all worries and thoughts? Is it difficult for me to adore Him in silence? If so, why? Is it difficult for me to be still? If so, why? What am I holding on to? Why don’t I allow Jesus to take it from me? When have I questioned or doubted Jesus’ presence at my side? How did He reassure me of His presence? What do I have to say to Jesus? This is my opportunity to speak with Him in a most powerful way.
