CURSILLO SPONSORS: Your Role

Long before the candidates begin their Cursillo weekend, their sponors begin preparing both the candidate and themselves for the experience.

For the sponsor, that process consists primarily of three stages:

- Noticing potential candidates and, if they express interest, gathering basic information about the person's spirtual and personal background, as well as the completion of an official application.

- Planning to provide long-term support for the candidate before, during and after their Cursillo weekend to help them mature in their faith, deepen their Christian committment and take their apostolic place in the world.
