Jesus told us that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth because he reveals the truth about the Father and the Son. Sometimes those Baptised in the Spirit are given the gift of Prophecy. This is a special gift because the Prophet receives a teaching or word of truth directly from the Holy Spirit which is then announced to the world. The Spirit uses Prophets to lead us, to teach us, and to give us clear orders that will preserve our church from error.
2008 Prophecy - I Call You to Love Them
One of our Magnificat members has been given the following Prophecy to share. A number of people have discerned and prayed about this and have started to pray and fast for God's people to know His Truth.
Prophecy
There is a darkness over the whole earth;
It becomes thicker and darker,
It rolls and grows.
My people walk and live in darkness;
They have traded the truth for the lies of the deceitful one.
This now is their truth, and because of it my people have become depraved.
I call you to love them.
I love them and I am calling an army of intercessors for their good.
Just as Jesus my Son fasted and prayed for all of you,
I now call on you to do the same.
Will you be my army?
Gather together, 2 or 3 or more on a regular basis.
Spend time in prayer for those in darkness;
fast in small ways until you are able to do more;
pray for my people;
love my people.
Be my army of lovers and interceders.
Prophecy: Join God's Special Forces
Kathy B. from Orange County, CA received the following word of truth on Magnificat's 20th anniversary:
"Dear daughters of the Father, the Holy Spirit is speaking through the ministry of Magnificat. The "Divine Teacher" is proclaiming life through reconciliation. Daughters, you are interceding for new life for the world. In these first years, I have formed you into the bridge that stands in the gap so that my people can cross from death to life, from falsehood to Truth. I bless you and appoint you ministers of love, teachers of life, prophets of hope, healers of hearts, builders of faith. Little one, your garden will grow. You glorify me through your humble service to My People. Open your hearts to receive the fullness of My Spirit in the power of the Holy Spirit, your ministry, the church, the world, will be guided through these difficult times of change. The old is passing away. Behold! I am doing a new thing! Persevere to fulfill your mission of love. Like a fortress, I surround you. The Immaculate Heart of Mary enriches you. Trust in Me. I am with you always. I love you. Jesus."
Later that month, the Mother Chapter of Magnificat gathered for a retreat directed by Pat Turbitt, coordinator from Providence, RI. chapter. Pat's strong message was that we are beloved daughters of the Father and one of the retreatants likend Magnificat to God's Special Forces. We invite all of you to join these "Special Forces" in praying a rosary every day for peace in our world.
