SOCIAL JUSTICE Committee works to transform concerns about poverty, justice, and social needs into commitment and action for the poor, the deprived, and the oppressed and to those in need in our Parish and in our community and the world. It works to change society’s structures that lead to poverty and oppression and meets the needs of all people. It studies, proclaims, and acts upon the social justice teachings of the Church. It promotes peace, the dignity of every person everywhere, the consistent ethic of life, and political responsibility.

Faith without good works for those in need is quite dead (James 2:17). In recognition of our call to serve the needs of our neighbors in our Parish, our community, our state and world, Mary Queen has established the following social justice ministries:
