The Aid For Friends Program active in our parish is such an easy way to bring comfort of body and soul to those less fortunate than we. These clients are people without the ability to shop or cook for themselves. Seven cooked meals are brought weekly to their homes by a volunteer visitor. These meals are provided by the volunteer cooks and drivers who offer their time to fulfill their corporal work of mercy. The expressions of gratitude from those helped tell such a story – a story making it easy to open our hearts. If you have the time and inclination to prepare even one meal a week, you will be enabling one needy person to know they are loved. The parish coordinator, Tom Vitale, will provide trays for your donated meals and arrange a time for their pick-up at your convenience. Please contact the rectory during business hours. The freezer in the school lunchroom area is accessible on school days
