The PREP program in our parish is intended to accommodate all the children who attend Public schools and private non-Catholic academies. The first class for PREP is Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:45 pm in the Parish Hall. This evening will begin our year (parent, child and teachers) with a Prayer Service, PREP information from S. Mary Beth and then "Meet the Catechist Night." At that time, you will be able to go to your child(ren)’s classroom to meet his/her catechist as well as pick up the textbook and any other information from the catechist. This evening will be a great help to you, your child(ren)’s, catechist and Sister Mary Beth. Registration will take place on Wednesday and Thursday evening, September 16 & 17 in the Rectory Meeting Room (1) from 6:30 to 8 PM. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP IN OUR PROGRAMS including Little Church School and Children’s Liturgy at Sunday Mass. Any questions or concerns,
Registration Requirements:
Must be a registered member of Maternity B.V.M. Parish.
Must have a Baptismal certificate if not baptized at B.V.M.
Must be 6 years old by September 1, 2009 and be a registered member of Maternity B.V.M. Parish.
Must be in our PREP Program for two years to make a sacrament unless coming from another PREP program or Catholic school.
