St. Vincent DePaul Society: Maternity B.V.M. Conference has become a daily, monthly, and semi-annual involvement in community service. The group meets once a month and reviews clients’ cases. Our society tries to keep families supplied with food daily. The Church poor boxes and private donations constitute our main source of income. We have a food drive in our parish every Thanksgiving. St. Vincent de Paul Clothing Drive
The clothing drive will be held here at Maternity B.V.M. on Saturday, October 17 from 9 am to 2 pm. The Society requests that all clothing and shoes be clean. They will also accept small working appliances. No baby clothing, please.
Did You Know There Are Poor Boxes located at all the church entrances. Donations collected are used to provide financial assistance, purchase food certificates, etc. to our ever growing list of parishioners needing our assistance. We are not asking for much, maybe a dollar a week or some loose change. If more of our parishioners do this, we would be able to help out more of our needy parishioners. Times are rough for many of us.
