The Metropolitan Catholic College Librarians’ Chapter
MCCLC
will host their Fall meeting at
Saint Peter’s College
on Friday, September 28th
in the Theresa and Edward O’Toole Library
Our guest speaker will be Fr. Raymond Schroth, author of the newly released New York University Press title, The American Jesuits: A History, 2007. Fr. Schroth has been a Professor of the Humanities at Saint Peter’s College since 1999. He has published six books including The Eagle and Brooklyn: A Community Newspaper, From Dante to Dead Man Walking: a Person’s Journey through Great Religious Literature, Books for Believers: 35 Books Every Catholic Should Read and Fordham: A History and Memoir. He has also been editor of the national Jesuit university review Conversations, since 1993. Please join us for this lifetime author and journalist’s engaging speech. An optional invitation to the O’Toole Library’s 40th Anniversary Rededication ceremony and/ or reception, after the MCCLC Fall Meeting, will take place through an additional RSVP.
