St. Michael The Archangel Parish - Oregon at 4001 Navarre Ave, Oregon, OH 43616 US - Our Parish Youth

Saint Michael's Parish Youth Group is a small, but very active group, ranging in age from high school through college. They do service projects (see the article "The Shrine Behind the Parking Lot"); decorating the church for Christmas; take part in religious programs such as days of recollection, the Byzantine Youth Rally and parish services. They have fun with fund-raising activites such as car washes, bake sales, the annual palacsinta breakfast (palacsinta are soft egg-rich pancakes similar to crepes or blintzes), t-shirt sales and whatever else they might dream up. The funds are used to support the group's activities. In 2002 they hope to raise enough money to send every member of the group who wishes to participate to the Byzantine Youth Rally in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
