The next meeting of our Fraternity will take place on Monday, December 7, 2009 beginning with a light supper at 6:30 pm in the Timm Center at Holy Angels Church in Little Falls, NJ. Chapters 28 & 29 of the Fr. Bodo Book will be discussed. We will also have a Ceremony of Introduction and Welcome for one of our Inquirers.
The Third Inquiry Session will take place on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, beginning at 7:30 PM in the Timm Center at Holy Angels Church.
The next meeting of our Fraternity Council will take place on Monday, December 14, 2009, beginning at 7:30 pm in the Timm Center at Holy Angels Church.
Our North Jersey Cluster will take place on December 5, 2009 at the Franciscan Spiritual Center in Ringwood, NJ (www.franciscanspiritualcenternj.com). Our Presenter will be Fr. Richard Trezza, OFM and the theme is "Looking Ahead with the Eyes in the Back of Your Head." The presentation will run from 9 am to 3 pm and includes a Continental Breakfast and Lunch. Cost is $35.

The Professed and Candidates Retreat originally scheduled for March 19-21, 2010 has been cancelled. Instead, our Fraternity will participate in the Our Lady of the Angels Regional Retreat scheduled to take place on August 27-29, 2010.

Please keep Emily Marcelli sfo, in your prayers as she recovers from surgery performed at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ this past November 3rd.
Please keep Maddi Romaine sfo, in your prayers as she recovers from back surgery successfully performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery back on September 9th in New York City. She is currently undergoing rehab at Kessler and wants to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
Please keep our former Spiritual Assistant - Sr. Andrea Westkamp in your prayers as she begins her new ministry in Virginia with the homeless and mentally ill.
The National Minister of the Secular Franciscan Order in the United States, J. Patrick Mendes, SFO, has given the go-ahead to announce the first of what is planed to be a series of web tv/video episodes about the Secular Franciscan Order.
During select months, all Fraternities in the Our Lady of the Angels Region are asked to pray the Novena Prayer of Intercession for the Catholic people of Orissa, India who are being persecuted for their faith. Please click here for the Novena Prayer.
Mychal's Message is an organization dedicated to continuing the work of Fr. Mychal Judge, OFM who was killed on 9/11. Charitable donations payable to "Mychal's Message" can be sent to P.O. Box 6404 - Lancaster, PA 17607. Website: www.mychalsmessage.org.
Fr. William, a missionary priest from the Nation of Ghana, is accepting donations of used computer laptops and student textbooks for school students in the region where he ministers in Ghana. If you would like to donate towards this ministry please contact Paul from our Fraternity.

Patrick is interviewed in the first show about what the order is, the kinds of people who get involved, and the various ministries that the SFOs bring their charism to. This first episode is just over ten minutes.
It is expected that future episodes will vary in length from 3 to 10 minutes and be a combination of interviews and action shots.
