Welcome to Most Precious Blood Church!

Formation in Prayer and Holiness: Teach My People to Pray
“Teach My People to Pray’ is Bishop David Ricken’s pastoral reflection for Phase 1 of Disciples on the Way: Prayer and Holiness. “The call of these first two years is to put first things first, which is all about establishing priorities, centered around God; especially in our time, our talent and our treasure, our prayer, our service, and our sharing.  I would like to invite all the faithful in the Diocese to take the next step in deepening our prayer lives,” Bishop Ricken notes. To read "A Pastoral Reflection: Teach My People to Pray",

Pilgrimage Novena
We will be holding a novena in preparation for our pilgrimage on September 27th. Starting Thursday, September 18th and for the nine days leading up to Saturday the 27th we will pray evening prayers (vespers) at 6:00 PM in the Church. Please join us for any or hopefully all nine evenings. The prayers should be about 15 to 20 minutes each night.

Evening prayers (Vespers) are part The Liturgy of the Hours which is a rich single prayer resource of the Christian Church, with prayers, psalms and readings for each of the Hours, changing each day and through the seasons. Participation is open to all who would like to come and pray with us, not just those going on pilgrimage.
