St. Alfred Preschool Child Care Program

If you are looking for a preschool program that focuses on your child's total development, we are most certainly that program. A, B, C's and 1, 2, 3's are but a slight portion of the information your child's eager mind is capable of absorbing.  They are new explorers in this world. They are true adventurers. They are artistis, and scientists, and mathematicians. They are builders and bakers, writers, and creators. They are natural learners. What they need from us are the tools and opportunity to do their work. What they need from us is the respect and understanding that their work exists in the form of play. Children learn through play.

Our program is based on this respect and lunderstanding. We will motivate. We will attempt to inspire. We will know your child and find every opportunity, every teachable moment to build on their individual strengths. What we will not do, is to push, rush, and hurry them out of a childhood, which they are entitled to.

Children are entitled to a place of joy and rooms filled with laughter. They need to be greeted with smiles and eyes that are happy to see them. We will atempt to help them build a strong base of positive self-esteem. We will help them to cultivate their own confidence and belief in their abilities. We will encourage them to celebrate their victories
and to resiliently weather their disappointments. We believe these lessons the real fondation for a bright and solid future.
