FOCUS Staff: Amanda Anderson (TEAM DIRECTOR): Hola! I am super excited to embark on my third year as a FOCUS Missionary for the mighty BISON at NDSU! I am a graduate of Benedictine College in Atchison Kansas where I majored in Music Ministry. I was involved with FOCUS as a student there and I am blessed to have been called to serve Christ in this way as a full time missionary. I look forward to returning to NDSU for more fun adventures! I enjoy laughing, singing, reading, spinning classes (so that I can train to beat the sioux in the bike race!), and going on new adventures. I can't wait for this amazing year!!!!! WOO! Go Bison!
FOCUS Staff: Justin Pieper - Hi, I'm Justin Pieper, a second-year missionary with FOCUS. I am happily married and my wife Hanna and I just had our first child, Xavier, on June 20th! I got involved with FOCUS during my sophomore year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I studied Agricultural Economics. Now, 4 ½ years later and a year out of school, I've felt God's call to serve Him through FOCUS at NDSU. I'm a big fan of college football and I also like to hunt, camp, play sports, and watch movies. The three of us look forward to meeting you all at the Newman Center and around campus this year.
FOCUS Staff: Melissa Weeder: Hello friends! You've gained another Nebraskan :) I grew up on a farm outside Lindsay, Nebraska and recieved my bachelors in graphic design from Concordia University in Seward, just down the road from Lincoln. I had been working as a graphic designer in Lincoln, NE for the past 3 years when I was blessed with the call to serve with FOCUS as a missionary. Running, camping, biking, concerts, roadtrips, new adventures and experiences...all right up my alley! I'm looking forward to my first year at NDSU!!!
FOCUS Staff: Lucas Martin - Hello, my name is Lucas Martin, and I have been blessed with the opportunity to spend my second year as a FOCUS missionary at NDSU. I grew up on a farm near Kirkwood, Illinois and received a degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois. I love Christ and the Church that He has given us, my wonderful family and friends, and all things American (namely baseball, cattle, and apple pie). I enjoy playing all sports, working with cattle, traveling, reading, and pretty much anything outdoors. I'm looking forward to meeting each one of you and becoming part of your great North Dakota family!
