We have established an Endowment Fund for St. Paul's Newman Center to help meet the annual operational expenses ($235,000.00) of the Newman Center. An endowment fund is an account where the principal may not be withdrawn but the interest is used to help support the budget.
We spend millions in the local Catholic school system and our local seminary which is great for Catholic education and formation of our youth. However, the college experience is a critical time when most of our young people will either walk away from the faith or walk deeper into the reality of Jesus Christ. Campus ministry is important because it assists our young people in the develpment of virture as they walk into adulthood. Will you help us help the youth of today by making a contribution to our endowment fund to help our budgetary needs?
I'm asking students and alumni from the NDSU Newman to donate what they get paid for 1 hours work to the endowment fund every quarter. For example, if you work at a job that pays $10 per hour I'm asking you to donate $10 to the Endowment fund every quarter or $40 per year.

In the memo line of the check put the following: endowment fund. Funds will be deposted in the Catholic Development Fund, with the Diocese of Fargo, which gives a great return on interest and helps the Diocese of Fargo to build new Churches and schools.

Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS)
- Responsible for running 40 different Catholic bible studies on the campus
- Very fruitful program with over 25 Newmanites becoming FOCUS missionaries, 7 seminarians, 1 religious sister and a host of faith centered relationships
