PEER MINSTRY: Young AdultsMinistering to Young Adults
St. Paul's Newman Center has four "Peer Ministers" who are on staff to help the students during their college experience walk deeper to the the reality of Jesus Christ through our Catholic faith and the programs offered at the Newman Center. Give them a call or send them an email and they'll be happy to get back to you about how to get involved with the Newman Center during your college experience.

Thomas Eskro - Hey everyone! My name is Thomas Eskro and I am a sophomore here at NDSU. I am currently majoring in Civil Engineering but I’m not a huge nerd, I promise ;) I hail from Anoka, Minnesota, which is just north of Minneapolis. I am very excited to be serving for the first time as a peer minister here at the Newman Center. I am an avid Frisbee fan, as well as football, broomball, softball, basketball, ping-pong and just about any other sport out there. Hopefully I’ll catch you guys around the Newman this year. God bless!!

Samantha Hetler: Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ, My name is Samantha Hetler and I am a Junior majoring in Zoology. This is my second year as a Peer Minister and I am excited to get back on track with all of the great things that I get to do again this year! I enjoy playing volleyball, meeting new people and dancing just to have fun! I look forward to meeting as many people as I can! Trust me the Newman is not only a place for you to grow in your faith but a place to meet amazing people just like yourself!!

Colette Kampa: Hi, my name is Colette, that’s one L and two T’s. I am a junior here at NDSU majoring in math education. My hometown is Plymouth, MN which is about 30 minutes west of the Twin Cities. This is my first year as a Peer Minister, and I am very excited to have been called to become more deeply involved here at the Newman Center. I enjoy fishing, camping, playing softball, and being outside in general. I also love reading, cross-stitching, playing cards, hot chocolate, and music. I look forward to seeing you around the Newman Center this year!
