In 2005-6, the Committee will continue to look at revisions to the Diocesan Reading List, a list of recommended literature for students grades K-8 which was developed by a committee of elementary librarians and reading teachers during school year 2000-1.  The Diocesan Reading List is intended to give beginning librarians and teachers as well as more experienced staff suggestions for reading for students on various grade levels, and includes brief annotation checklists on the books. Thanks again for the many suggestions you sent for books to be included/excluded from this list! We will continue to work on these list in the fall, with a target completion date of November.
